1. Overview

UpJobPilot ("we", "our", "us") is a product by Doone (doone.dev). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our software and website.

UpJobPilot is a locally-run desktop application. Your Upwork OAuth tokens, job data, and settings are stored exclusively on your own machine and are never transmitted to our servers.

2. Information We Collect

We collect minimal information necessary to operate the service:

License key — used to validate your subscription via LemonSqueezy. Validated server-side; we do not store it beyond validation.
Job data for AI analysis — Upwork job listings you choose to analyze are sent to our Cloudflare Worker for processing by Claude AI (Anthropic). This data is not stored permanently and is used solely to generate analysis results.
Usage counts — for free tier users, we track the number of AI analyses used (stored anonymously by license key in our backend).
Email address — collected by LemonSqueezy at the time of purchase for billing and license delivery purposes.

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

Your Upwork OAuth credentials or tokens
Your Upwork account details or profile data
Job history, proposals, or any personal freelancer data
Browser data, cookies, or tracking pixels

4. Third-Party Services

LemonSqueezy — handles payments and license key management. Subject to their Privacy Policy.
Anthropic (Claude AI) — processes job text for AI analysis. Subject to their Privacy Policy.
Cloudflare — hosts our Worker infrastructure. Subject to their Privacy Policy.

5. Data Retention

Job data sent for AI analysis is processed in real time and not stored on our servers. Usage count data for free tier users is retained for as long as the license key is active. Email data is managed by LemonSqueezy per their retention policy.

6. Your Rights

If you are located in the EU/EEA, you have rights under GDPR including the right to access, correct, or delete your data. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@doone.dev.

7. Children's Privacy

UpJobPilot is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
